Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
1. What MineNotify is
MineNotify is a Discord bot plus a web dashboard. It queries Minecraft servers you register, renders live status cards, edits its own panel messages in your Discord channels, and optionally publishes public status pages. The service is provided as-is, without warranties.
2. Your Discord server, your responsibility
You may only install the bot and register servers where you have permission to do so — either Discord's Manage Server permission or a role your server admins assigned under Server settings. Do not use MineNotify to monitor servers you do not own or administer, to evade bans, or to harass players or server owners.
3. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no spam panels across channels, no scraping other people's status pages to build competing datasets, no probing addresses that are not yours, and no attempting to access other users' dashboards, guilds or data. Rate limits are enforced and abusive clients are blocked.
4. Availability
Panels refresh on a schedule and depend on Discord, your Minecraft servers and this hosting being reachable. Uptime figures are measured from successful queries — they describe your servers, not a service guarantee for MineNotify itself.
5. Accounts and access
Sign-in happens through Discord OAuth. You are responsible for your Discord account and for the roles you assign: anyone holding a manager role you configure can edit panels, servers or pages exactly as if they held Manage Server for that area. Remove the role or the bot to revoke access.
6. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server and deleting your data in the dashboard. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
7. Changes
These terms may change as the project evolves; continued use after a change takes effect counts as acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
